America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders exists to make youth aware of the various career opportunities within the industry of agriculture by providing scholarships that help further their education. The Monsanto Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer, offers $1,500 scholarships to students pursuing a career in various sects of agriculture.
In order to apply for this scholarship, students must meet the below criteria:
- Must be a high school senior (public, private or home-schooled) or enrolled in college full time (minimum of 12 credit hours).
- Must be planning to pursue a degree in a qualifying area of study.
- Must be planning to attend a vocational, 2-year or 4-year qualifying ag related study program after high school.
- Must meet a minimum 2.5 GPA requirement.
- Must obtain no less than two electronic endorsements from qualifying farmers who live or farm in an eligible county.

Berkshire Hathaway Home Services/Northwood Realty Services is offering a Trade School & College Scholarship opportunity for three (3) deserving High School Seniors. The 2020-2021 Dream…Innovate…Grow Scholarships will go to three qualified seniors that embody one or more of these traits. Each scholarship is valued at $1000 per year, for up to four years. The company is seeking three qualified individuals who intend to become a full-time student at a college, university, or trade school for the fall of 2021. The senior must have maintained at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Applicants should possess some of the qualities of leadership, volunteerism, character, and an overall positive attitude towards life. Immediate family members of Sponsor’s employees and/or salespersons will not be eligible. The application document is below. Kent State's Student Financial Aid Office is hosting a virtual Financial Aid night on Wednesday, October 14 at 7pm! During the session, they will cover the steps to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and discuss the financial aid process in general. They will also go over the types of financial aid including information about scholarships, grants, loans and federal work-study. After the main presentation, there will be time for a Q&A. Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation: The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation believes that investing in students who are leaders, both academically and in service to others, will result in positive, lasting change and sustainable communities. Students need to apply to be a Coca-Cola Scholar by October 31, 2020, at 5 p.m. ET, and receive a chance for one of 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 through the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. Horatio Alger Association: The Horatio Alger Association welcomes eligible high school seniors to apply for the Horatio Alger Scholarships, which range from $10,000 to $25,000.
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for these awards.
One application is all that's necessary to apply for state, national, and specialized programs. The application is open until October 25 and available at application.horatioalger.org.
Jack Kent Cooke Foundation: The Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities. Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements. The 2021 Cooke College Scholarship Program application closes on October 30, 2020, at 11:59 p.m., in your local time zone. Applicants can add the Cooke College Scholarship Program Application to their Common App.

Youngstown State University is hosting a Virtual Financial Aid Night to provide helpful information to the parents of students in grades 11 and 12 planning to attend college. The program is being held just in time to prepare for many university's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) priority filing deadlines.

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship designed to help high-achieving students from small towns and rural areas graduate college debt-free. Recipients must: a) graduate from a public high school located in a county having fewer than 50,000 residents, or b) graduate from a remote rural school located in a county having more than 50,000 residents. Hagan Scholars from 43 states are currently enrolled at 358 colleges and universities. Five hundred more scholarships will be awarded in April 2021.
The scholarship provides up to $48,000 over four years to attend college. Recipients must enroll at an eligible four-year not-for-profit college or university the first semester following high school graduation.
