Career Center

United High School students have the option of attending the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center during their Junior and Senior year.  Generally, students have the option of attending the CCCTC for the full day, (which means spending 1/2 day in the chosen career path lab, and the other 1/2 day in academic classes), or attending the CCCTC 1/2 day for the career path lab, and then spending the remainder of the day at United for academic classes.

To be eligible to attend the CCCTC, a student must have completed a minimum of 8 credits during the 9th and 10th grades, including 2 English courses, 2 Math courses, 1 Science course, 1 Social Studies course,  both required Physical Education courses and Health.

United Sophomores will have the opportunity to visit the CCCTC this winter and observe the programs there.  Those who then decide to apply to the Career Center will do it online at
