Boiler Room

Back in the day you may have thought the dungeon was where the bad kids go, but the dungeon is primarily used for storage and the boiler. The heaters for the kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms are heated by hot water that turns into steam then goes through a softener valve before heating the classrooms. The elementary dungeon was used for art class and intervention rooms in the 1950s. They used to use a pulley to send coal down in the room to put in the boilers to heat the school. And there are a few storage rooms down there now. One holds all the desks and chairs that don't get used and the other storage room is for extra PTO things.
