Do you know who the United local school girls soccer coach is? It is Nicole Blazer!! Her soccer teams are doing good this year. Her JH team is rebuilding this year and her high school team is 8-6-2. I asked her “What has your team improved this season?” and she answered, “The girls on both teams have improved passing and learning how to play as a team.” Kids you better read this. Coach Blazer has reasons why you should soccer. “I think kids should play soccer because everyone gets to participate and they have to run. It is a great sport for all skill levels as long as you can kick a ball.” Now this is what you have to learn. “Kids need to learn how to trap and control the ball to develop their soccer skills.” Now this is why she likes to coach soccer. “ I got into soccer because when I was hired as a teacher 25 years ago, Minerva needed a girls' soccer coach. After that initial season, I loved the team and the sport, and have continued to love it more and more each year.” Now if she coaches the girls soccer team she needs some help right? So here are her assistant coaches: Travis Wright, Bob Albright, and Dan Narby. And now this is why they help her. “They help me because they love soccer as much as I do.”
