United Elementary was filled with holiday cheer this week as our PTO hosted its annual Santa’s Workshop—and it was a tremendous success from start to finish. Students were buzzing with excitement as they shopped for thoughtful gifts for family members, learned about budgeting, and enjoyed a day filled with festive fun.
One of the highlights of the day was a surprise visit from Buddy the Elf, who brought smiles, laughter, and plenty of holiday spirit to every student as they shopped. This cheerful presence made an already special event even more magical.
To support our young shoppers, high school students volunteered their time to help elementary students make smart purchasing decisions and manage their money. Their kindness and mentorship created a wonderful atmosphere of connection between grade levels, and our younger students were grateful for the help.
Our PTO went above and beyond to make this event meaningful. They partnered with vendors from across the community to bring in a wide variety of affordable, cost-efficient Christmas gifts, ensuring every child had the opportunity to find something special for the people they love. The PTO team dedicated their entire day to assisting students, restocking items, managing the tables, and making sure each child felt proud of their shopping choices.
By the end of the day, students walked away with gifts for all their family members—and even bigger smiles. Many shared how excited they were to surprise their loved ones with the treasures they found.
Events like Santa’s Workshop are a shining example of how our PTO supports the heart of our school. Their commitment to creating joyful experiences and ensuring every child feels special is truly remarkable.
Thank you to our PTO, our community vendors, and our high school helpers for making this year’s Santa’s Workshop unforgettable. Your time, generosity, and holiday spirit made all the difference.
