Do you know Mrs. Groubert? If you don't know about her that is ok because I am going to tell you about her. She is the New’s Crew leader and I sat down to interview her.
Mrs. Groubert was born on October 24 1970 . Her very first job was a customer service manager for the Better Business Bureau in Youngstown, Ohio. She handled complaints between business owners and consumers. She worked at this job for four years while she attended Youngstown State University where she received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education. She was hired at United Local by Mrs. Rinto in July of 1995 as a fourth grade teacher. She taught fourth grade at United for eight years before moving to fifth grade. She then taught fifth grade for thirteen years before becoming the first literacy coach at United. Mrs. Groubert enjoys being the literacy coach because she is able to work with many students in grades K-8.
Mrs. Groubert also teaches a service-based class with 8th graders. Her service-based class works throughout the school campus helping students of various grade levels with math, reading, writing, and speech. Her class also runs and operates the school’s food pantry.
Mrs Groubert loves teaching so much she owns and operates a horseback riding school at her home. She teaches about twenty students after school and on the weekends. Her husband and her take students to competions where they also compete. People aren’t the only things she teaches.
