Mrs. Schonauer and Mrs. Williams’ kindergarten classes joined forces for a fun, hands-on pumpkin lesson! Students counted pumpkin seeds and grouped them into sets of ten while working together as a team. After dissecting and labeling the parts of the pumpkin, their finished projects turned out fantastic. Way to go, kiddos! 🎃

Congratulations to our 5th grade students for bringing the largest contribution during this pop tab collection! The 5th grade class was treated to donuts and apple cider. During this collection over 75 gallons of tabs were collected from grades K-8! Officer Bailey will be taking this donation to the Ronald McDonald House! Also, a huge thank you to our PTO for helping with this collection and for providing the donuts and apple cider.

Today is National School Parent Group Day and United Local School District has the BEST PTO! We are UNITED in our appreciation for all that you do! Thank you for all of the support that you give to our staff and students. From putting on book fairs, mother and son dodgeball tournament, truck or treat, Santa shops, Valentine celebrations, gifting us coffee from a Coffee Truck, helping to run our Carnival Day, and greeting and helping our students the first week of school.

Through the United Volleyball Shoe Drive, the team raised just over $1,000 in profit, which has been reinvested directly into the volleyball program at United Local School District.
Together, we collected an incredible 2,688 pounds of shoes!
Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this effort—your participation made the shoe drive a true success.
