We hope that all of our families and staff had a great Winter Break. We can't wait to see everyone back tomorrow morning, 1/4/23.


Attention to our Kindergarten and First Grade Parents to an upcoming change in our academic schedule. The days are: January 18th, February 15th, March 29th, April 19th, and May 9th. This means that our students in Kindergarten and First Grade will NOT report to school on those days, but students in grades 2-12 WILL report as they usually would.


Miss Wilmoth's class and Mrs. Grimm's class worked together to help Santa make toys because he spent all his money on cookies and couldn't pay his elves...





Do you want to build a snowman? Mrs. Grimm's and Miss Wilmoth's classes participated in a STEM challenge to build the tallest snowman. The winning snowman was 10 and half inches tall!





Mrs Garn's friends had a visit from some 8th grade readers/writers who wrote some fabulous children's stories!

To finish their culture study, Mrs. Grimm's class learned how Christmas is celebrated around the world. Today, they presented what they learned and enjoyed sponge cake by the beach in Australia!





Mrs. Williams’ kindergarten class finished up their Gingerbread Unit by planning and building an escape route for the gingerbread man. Then, they got to decorate and eat their own cookie. 🤎





Mrs. Garn's friends enjoyed the OT& PT Christmas Theme Obstacle Course today!





The United Nurses combatting this wave of flu in the classrooms by teaching handwashing with the Glo Germs kit!


5th grade students in Mrs. Leitza’s literacy class are currently working on selling gingerbread houses based on their descriptive writing. Today, Austin Noel, a realtor from Salem, spoke with students about his job and how he uses descriptive language in his work every day. He shared several examples, answered questions, and even gave feedback to the students on their descriptions! It was a great learning experience for all!



Kindergarten has been learning about primary and secondary colors. They have been making color wheel snowflakes this week in art class. 🌈❄️





All students in Grades K-5 will be playing Grinch Tag this week in Physical Education Class. Here are some pictures from today's festivities. Pictured here, Mrs.Kober's 5th, Mrs. Malone's 4th, and Mrs. Spillman's 3rd grade classes all enjoyed Christmas Music during the fun activity.
