We are proud of these Woods II students who built a table for the away concession stand. We were asked to build a table to hold 2 hot chocolate tubs, a coffee maker, bins of candy, and a trash can. This is what the students came up with. Now all it needs is a coat of paint. Nice work gentlemen!

ALUMNI BASKETBALL GAME - MARCH 22
The United Local Sophomore Class is sponsoring an alumni basketball game on Friday, March 22. Due to lack of interest, the women’s game has been cancelled. The 30 and over men’s game will begin at 7:00 and the under 30 men’s game will begin at 8:00. Cost to attend is $4 for adults and $2 for students. Concessions will be available. All proceeds will benefit the Sophomore Class.

Thank you to Ohio House Representative Al Cutrona for visiting United High School to speak about how legislation works and to provide a Q & A for Mrs. Burch's Government students. Laura Schaeffer is Cutrona's counterpart candidate running for the same political office and she will also be in to speak with our students at a later date.

Congratulations to Zach Blake! He is now certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist - Word Associate Microsoft 365 Apps! This certification adds 3 points toward his graduation seal. Way to go, Zach!!!

Ag. Business students are freshening up their cursive skills this month! Soon, the students will develop their signature, write the FFA Creed in cursive and read an agricultural article that's written in cursive ✍️

Band Spaghetti Dinner is tomorrow night March 15, 2024 from 4:30-9pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students/ senior citizens. Tickets are available at the gate. All grades 5-12 will be performing throughout the evening.

The Salem Regional Medical Center hosted the United Medical Career Pathway students 03/07/24. They gave a fantastic tour and the opportunity to meet with each department head for career planning and questions. Notice United alumni Debbie Mesmer! Debbie is the Director of Medical Imaging at SRMC.
