Live to serve
The last line of the FFA Motto, but the most important. All week, United FFA teamed up with United local food pantry, managed by the 8th grade class and supervised by Mr. Burd & Mrs. Groubert. This serves as a service based learning opportunity for the 8th graders. The food pantry serves students grades K—12 with weekend meals who are in need. Currently, there are 46 families that are served breakfast, lunch & Dinner out of the pantry.
FFA Members rounded out the final day of FFA Week by serving our community, collecting OVER 1,000 items for our pantry🎉
Thank you to all the staff, faculty, and community members who made this project possible!
