8th graders in Mr. Gentry's intro to Ag class have been testing out their green thumbs!🌱 students have been learning about hydroponics types, set up their owns group projects and selected leafy greens to grow. Today, students learned about pH, EC (electrical conductivity) and how plant cells absorb nutrients based on media pH. They tested their water solutions and made adjustments as necessary! Soon, they will be enjoying salad from lettuce they grew in class! 🥬 🥗

🥇UNITED FFA OFFICER BOOKS ALL EARN GOLD RATING!!! 🥇 Over the past year, the United FFA officers team have worked diligently to complete the 3 National FFA Officer book requirements. These are extremely in-depth record books that are evaluated based on a stringent rubric. The records within the books cover an entire year of the United FFA chapter's records, achievements, financials, meeting minutes, and more! Though the books are linked to the officers who hold the respective offices, these GOLD RATINGS have been a huge team effort, and we could not be more proud of this team's achievements!
