As we wind down the last week of school, United FFA wrapped up their annual “Food For America” program with the Elementary & Middle school students designed and orchestrated by my Chapter Officer team. The purpose is to bring exposer to animal Agriculture and teach young students (and teachers) where their food actually comes from!
Did you know that there is over a 7% drop in feeling strongly that adults age 18-26 understand where their food comes from? Agriculture education is about bridging the gap in consumer and producer education (Farm to Fork). The scrutiny that modern production agriculture undergoes everyday is simply because of a lack of understand, not because of fact. Yesterday’s program reached over 800 students and was a great reminder why we need to all work together to continue bridging that gap!

Congratulations to Isaiah Conway! He is now certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist - Word Associate Microsoft 365 Apps! This certification adds 3 points toward his graduation seal. Way to go, Isaiah!!!
