41 United FFA Members traveled to the Canton location of the Akron/Canton Food Bank Network today.
Our students volunteered for 5 hours, packed 7,500 meals totaling more than 9,000 pounds of food for local senior citizens. This community service was part 1 of our #NationalFFAWeek commitment to give back!

96 active FFA members in our program keep records on over 130 projects year-round! Record keeping is an essential skill that everyone must learn and understand.
These members are creating awesome projects ranging from keeping records on income from jobs, starting small businesses, or even doing agriscience projects to answer a scientific-related question to improve the agricultural industry!
FFA is not just for farmers. It's for EVERYONE!


United Local School District will be on a two-hour delay today, February 18th. Additionally, there will be no morning pre-school.

United FFA Members are making a HUGE impact in our community and beyond. The numbers speak for themselves!

Attention United Local Parents and Students:

The UHS Medical Career Pathways students recently traveled to Mt. Union for a field trip. While there, they toured the campus and gained valuable information about educational opportunities. They also experienced a Health Professions Rotation of the Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Physicians Assistant programs, too. Thank you, Savannah Morris Digby, for making our visit a great one!










United Agriculture students enrolled in Plant science are making an impact in Louisville Kentucky at the National Farm Machinery show!
Students grew 3 cover crop types including rye grass, annual rye and clover hydroponically at United. They then built lit display boxes to showcase the root mass each cover crop produced!
Todd Bricker, local Byron Seed dealer has them on display to educate potential customers on the benefits of various cover crop types. Make real connections, educating the youth with hands on learning🌱

8th graders in Mr. Gentry's intro to Ag class have been testing out their green thumbs!🌱 students have been learning about hydroponics types, set up their owns group projects and selected leafy greens to grow.
Today, students learned about pH, EC (electrical conductivity) and how plant cells absorb nutrients based on media pH. They tested their water solutions and made adjustments as necessary! Soon, they will be enjoying salad from lettuce they grew in class! 🥬 🥗

Mr. Gentry's Ag., Food & Natural Resources students wrapped up their food science unit today with a cooking lab!
Students decided on a recipe, wrote a shopping list, prepared their ingredients, measured and cooked their meals. On the menu was Strip steak with a fresh thyme & garlic butter, hand pattied bbq burgers, and breakfast with Oreo pancakes, bacon and eggs! 🥩 🍳 🥞 🍔
