Students in Building Trades I recently completed another project in their 1st Project Book. This project was a breadbox that taught skills such as using a Kreg Jig to make joints and using a router to cut a groove for the Plexiglas in the front door. Students did a great job, check out some of their work!

Mr. Gentry’s 6th grade Career exploration class has been learning all about communication this week. Today, students learned the importance of non-verbal communication and did an activity where the practiced using different body language to act out a specific emotion or feeling like impatience, happiness, nervousness, etc. The students then discussed why this is important in careers and when in public. United has some great actors and actresses!
