The future is bright at United! These entrepreneurs made the first ever student vendor Santa's Workshop a huge success. Over $2500 was earned by students selling their products. In addition to money earned, students donated $230 for the community out reach program.










Good morning, United Local School District will be on a two-hour delay today, December 19th. Morning pre-school will be canceled. All drivers, please take your time and students are encouraged to use the bus system to get to school.
High school art students were invited to decorate the elementary foyer by painting the windows to look like the book Bear Stays Up For Christmas. Students painted different sections together in groups. The students did a wonderful job!










United Jazz Band performed for Blossom Nursing Home, Brookdale Assisted Living, and Robert Bycroft School. Thank you for sharing your talents and spreading some holiday cheer!










Congratulations AGAIN to Alison Conser! She is now certified as an Autodesk Certified User: Inventor®. This industry recognized certification earns Alison the next 4 points toward her 12-point graduation seal in Engineering. Way to go, Alison!!!

Congratulations to Myla French for receiving a token for the book vending machine. Myla got her token for her outstanding service to her classmates who needed a little help.

United FFA's annual winter officer outting was a huge success. FFA officers met for lunch Sunday afternoon where laughs, stories and team bonding was shared. They then traveled to complete the shopping for 2 families Christmas donations. This year’s shopping was partially sponsored by the donations of United high school students in the “Be The Change” Christmas change drive. Christmas is the spirit of giving and these students leaders put giving at the top of their priority list. 🎅🏼 🌲









Open 4 Business class participated in Santa's Workshop. Students produced and sold items made in class. Using their customer service skills they helped younger students pick out just the right gift for their friends and family.










Students in Mr. Kilroy's 6th grade math class did a group shopping lesson comparing unit prices of grocery items at Aldi, Giant Eagle, and Walmart. Students had to determine which store had the better deals on items based on unit prices.

Wednesday night's Sip & Paint was a great success. We have several talented artists in our community! We had fun sipping cocoa and painting our Christmas scenes.





#Adulting students met up with Mrs. Barkley's students to enjoy gross motor skill activities. High schoolers created aprons and personalized stuffed animals for their friends.
