
Freshmen students in Woods 1 completed the shop safety course and then completed their 1st project, which was a coat rack. Some even added their own personal touches to the project. Nice job freshmen!





Students in Intro to Woods completed their 1st project-a 2x4 pumpkin. While this small project serves as an introduction to the woodshop classes, students still get to use all of the tools and equipment. Nice job 7th grade! Show here is Mikenna.

Emerson Kuttler is the first United Middle School student to recieve a token from the brand new book vending machine. Emerson recieved this token as she was nominated by her teachers for her outstanding positive behavior and academic achievement. The book vending machine is now available for middle school students to earn a token for positive behavior and academic achievement. Pictured with Emerson is her 6th grade ELA teacher Mrs. Russo and librarian Mrs. Ward who both helped make this vending machine possible.




Another milestone for the building project hit this week as we begin adding steel!

The USO show focuses on showing appreciation for our Veterans, and we provide free tickets to all who have served. Any community members willing to Sponsor a Veteran can drop off donations in the elementary office, and will be thanked in the program for their generosity. The form is attached, and there are hard copies in the front office. Thank you so much for supporting those who have served for us!

Students in plant and animal science continue their Plant anatomy & Physiology unit by learning about seed anatomy through a soybean and corn seed dissection. Students soaked seeds in water over night to hydrate them and then dissect them to learn the parts that make a plant germinate properly!
