
Parent teacher conferences will be held next Thursday evening March 2nd. You can schedule a time to meet with your child's teacher by calling 330-223-7102. Conferences for the middle school and high school will be held from 2:45 PM-8:45 PM. There will be no school on Friday the 3rd.


Mrs. Markijohn's class enjoyed a pizza party for winning the "12 Days of Giving Food Drive" sponsored by the United Food Pantry. Thank you for your generosity!







The students in Mrs. Markijohn's class have started their project of creating a
marble roller coaster! They get to problem solve and use their knowledge of potential and kintetic energy to create a roller coaster with a loop!

Representatives from SHP Architects and Hammond Construction will be present to share design renderings, construction updates, and logistics and traffic flow plans for the 2023-24 school year.


The 6th grade presented lessons to the 3rd grade today about how to help our planet. Many wonderful topics were taught such as, air pollution, benefits of honey bees, bee colony jobs, and water pollution. All of these topics were focused around Math, English, Science, and Social Studies standards. Great job being leaders 6th graders!





What an amazing day in 6th grade! Ellen Potter, a famous author, digitally visited us, taught us great tips for writing, and and even answered our questions! We have some of Miss Potters books are in our classroom library, how wonderful! 📚 Her biggest writing tip: to read as much as possible; books are your best writing teachers!





Mrs. Tedeschi's 6th graders learned about Mesopotamian cuneiform writing and made their own clay tablets.





The students in Mrs. Markijohn's class are showing off their knowledge of calculating and graphing speed! The students made a paper airplane, measured and timed how long it flew, and are using that data to find the speed!





What a great Kick Off Day! Sixth and third grade join together for the environment, with the help of Mr. Hostetler and Mrs. Sigler. ♻️🐝🌾





The Eagles Nest Food Pantry would like to thank Akron Children’s Hospital, Francine McBride, and the CASH coalition for helping fund us through the Bonnie Hoppel School Health Project Award. The monies will be used to help purchase more fresh food items for our Food Pantry.


United Local Schools will be closed Wednesday, January 25th due to potential hazardous driving conditions.
